I was the featured artist for the first show of the new edition of Jazz with Frankye, a cable TV program that is available on YouTube. See exhibits for photos and link.

A stroll through North Beach and Telegraph Hill area of San Francisco led to some worthy photographs, some of which have been the basis of new paintings. One more to go.

Completed a 6-painting series that is united in arrangement for potential installation. Based on Chinese ideograms, the paintings have a parallel ink brush calligraphy series. A 7th, independent calligraphy painting was also completed this year.

A psychedelic, Op Art painting was completed, based on my calligraphic painting of music. Although it had little effect on me, short of some minor illusions, some people became dizzy viewing it.

In 2010, I was in Spain and last summer 2011 was yet another musical adventure, this time in Turkey. Photographs taken during the tours led to five paintings. Link on home page or here for photographic tour:
